Who are we?
Solé was started by two best college friends, at USC, (Jake's a senior and Jonathan is in "the real world") who became infatuated by fixies and the locals riding them by our school in Los Angeles. We couldn’t figure out why they were so expensive so we trekked the globe in hopes of creating and selling a well built, fun to ride, affordable bike. We love the idea of commuting by cycle, staying healthy and using our cars less, in combination of the fixie culture.

What's with the guy jumping?
This man is saying yes. We love life. What the hell did we know; two kids trying to start a bike company. Say yes to that last shot of Tequila. Say Yes to that road Trip. Y.O.L.O. You only live once.

What are the shipping policies?
Our bikes are a standard $35 bucks anywhere in the continental USA. States like Alaska and Hawaii may take some extra time and may incur a small extra fee. We are pleased to do international shipping. Just email us at international@solebicycles.com.

When will my bike arrive?
Our bikes are shipped UPS Ground. Depending on where you live in the USA, it will take between two to seven days. You will be sent a tracking number as soon as we send it out.

How will my bike arrive?
Your bike will come in a large brown box plastered with Solé across. You wont miss it- and your mail man will probably hate you. Your bike will come 90% assembled. Assembly is super simple. You need to screw in the pedals, front wheel, handlebars and adjustments. You need one tool to screw all the pieces in – it comes in the box. We recommend going to your local bike shop to have them check it out.

Should I ride fixed gear or single speed?
Some of you here may not even yet know the difference…yet.

We think a Solé bike, whether you ride it as a fixie or single speed is the perfect bike. The bike is lightweight (you can pick it up with two fingers), its frame geometry and advanced road bike tires maximize efficiency and speed, and because of its one simple gear (either fixed or single), your bike will always be ready to cruise, no snags, no seeds.

A fixed gear bike is in movement only when you are. In other words, you can not coast on a fixie. Some of you may be asking, “why would I ever want to ride a bike like that?”. It’s a matter of personal preference, and once people ride their bike fixed, they usually don’t ever go back. You feel extremely connected to the road and have complete control over your cycle – its way more fun.

A single speed bike means you are riding with just one gear, kind of like a beach cruiser, but you can coast, chillout, and relax while riding.
The radness of Solé is that our bike comes standard with whats known as a flip flop hub, meaning you can ride it as a fixed gear or single speed.

Our bikes come shipped with the rear wheel attached to the fixed gear side. Ride hard ya dig? You can easily change it to the single speed side no worries.

Which frame size should I ride?
Usually, it’s better to get a frame that is a little too small than one that is too large. You can adjust some of the moving parts like the seat and handlebars to make the frame the perfect size for you. Please see our diagram to find your frame size.

What is the frame made of?
Our frames are built and assembled by hand. The are made from post-consumer recycled steel Hi-Tensile steel trying to stay as green as possible. They are tig welded for maximum durability.

What forms do you accept?
Our site is based off simple and trusted Pay Pal. At this time, we only accept Visa, American Express, and Mastercard. In other words, no cash, checks, or trades

Who made your site?
Our website was made by Inreact.

Do you accept returns?
We understand sometimes how it is to buy things online however we are fully confident in our bikes. If you ordered the wrong frame size, let us know asap and well be sure to send you a new one. We offer a 7 day return policy from the date of arrival. You must first contact us, and get a return ID code. The customer is always right. We have a feeling you will love your cycle though. In order to offer our customers the lowest prices possible though, we must have certain limits on our return policy in regards to shipping fees. Therefore, all shipping charges, outbound and return, are non-refundable.

What is your warranty?
At Solé, we guarantee your frame and fork for one year. If anything at all happens to it, let us know, and well be sure to fix it as soon as possible. Components like chains and tires go through normal wear and tear, and sadly, we can not cover them. For a more complete and thorough view of our warranty, please click here.
