The tenth installment of our Cruising USA series is keepin' it local, hitting the sights in our own neighborhood; Venice Beach, CA. We're stoked to get the opportunity to cruise the coast of L.A. behind the lens of Rae Ceretto.
Venice beach is a place where eclectic takes on a whole new meaning. The streets are filled with art, funky shops, and true So-Cal vibes. Taking a Solé down the Venice Boardwalk is one of the best ways to get the true L.A. experience. Have a look through the Venice series and catch the vibes from a Venice local.
Rae Ceretto Bio:
Rae Ceretto is an international documentary & portrait photographer focusing on issues surrounding women and children. A Southern California native, Rae has lived and worked around the globe. At the age of 15, Rae moved to Serbia to complete her first documentary film based around the 1999 NATO bombings and death of former Yugoslavian dictator Slobodan Milosevic. Since then she has been traveling the world creating stories for various companies, government organizations, and publications. Throughout her career, she has documented issues including; healthcare and education reform in rural India, sustainable oral health care for the children of Grenada, outreach work with political refugees in Serbia, working girls in Bangkok, women’s empowerment in Africa, and the South Sudan refugee crisis in Uganda. Some of her clients include: New York Times Upfront, UNICEF, Operation Smile, Red Bull, Rolling Stone Magazine, CBS, Esquire Magazine, UpRoxx, US Weekly, MSN, The Daily News, Surfrider, The Stanford Review, and various non-profit websites.
When Rae is not working she spends most of her time at home in Venice Beach California. She loves surfing, free diving, and cruising the boardwalk on her Solé bicycle with her dog Kala:)
